Shipping & Delivery

With our store centrally located in the South East of South Australia, our customers can request a delivery to most locations with in 100km the same day. So if you are in Bordertown, Kingston Millicent or Mount Gambier, we can get the goods you are looking for ex stock to you fast.

DELIVERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Shipping quotes & charges for over-sized products are based upon the receiver having access to a forklift to unload the shipment on the receiving end.

Some over-size shipments may require Special Delivery Conditions such as tail-gate truck delivery. If the receiver does not have a forklift this will incur more cost than the standard quoted rates. Please check the product description and ask us for more details if it is not clearly specified on the product.

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

If you want to have your order left at your address even if you are not home, you can select the Authority to Leave option during the checkout phase. If you select this option:

You are accepting responsibility for delivery for the item once it leaves Drews Workshop Supplies.
Drews Workshop Supplies assumes a delivery has been made if the courier reports that the item has been delivered.
Non-delivery claims by customers will not be accepted if the courier firm confirms the delivery has been made.

DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges are calculated dynamically depending on the delivery postcode & the weight & dimensions of the products in your cart.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

If you opted to collect in store, you will receive an email (Or phone call) to inform you when your goods are ready for collection.

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

Courier deliveries occur between Monday – Friday, between 9am – 6pm. We cannot arrange for deliveries on specific days or weekends at this time unfortunately. If you are not home when the delivery driver arrives, they will leave a card with details on how to re-arrange your delivery. All orders must be signed for & ID may be required upon delivery.

If you are not present when the courier drops off the package, they may drop a collection card in your mailbox to either contact for a redelivery or pickup at a collection point close to your address such as a news agency, local supermarket and for Australia post, typically your local post office.

INSURANCE

Drews Workshop Supplies does not include insurance as part of any product purchased, this will need to be purchased separately to protect our customers from any lost goods.

Drews Workshop Supplies does not accept liability for any goods that are lost in transit, without insurance.

DAMAGED GOODS

We highly recommend that you immediately inspect any goods that are delivered to you, or that have been collected from Drews Workshop Supplies, to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your goods. Including if the goods are of acceptable quality & match the description that we have provided to you. If your goods have arrived damaged in any way, please refer to our returns policy page.

DELIVERIES THAT REQUIRE A FORKLIFT OR LOADING DOCK

If you are ordering a large item that requires a forklift or loading dock for delivery and you have these facilities available for the delivery, then please tick the appropriate box at the checkout. This may reduce your delivery charge in some cases as we will not need to cater for these requirements. Please note, if you confirm that a forklift or loading dock is available but when the delivery arrives it is not, the delivery will be aborted, and you will be charged a re-delivery fee. Your original delivery charges will not be refunded.

LOCAL DELIVERY

Depending on your location, local delivery might be available at the checkout. This is a Flat Rate shipping that applies across all products with the exception of Dangerous or Bulky Goods, and is set at a flat rate of $15. The following postcodes that our local shipping is available for is as follows: 5262, 5263, 5267, 5268, 5269, 5270, 5271, 5272, 5273, 5275, 5276, 5277, 5278, 5279, 5280, 5290, 5291. Please Note: This shipping is not available outside of these postcodes.

SHIPPING

Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of your shopping cart and your location - so you save on shipping when there are multiple items in your order being shipped together. Items delivered via Australia Post can be sent to residential or PO boxes. Items Shipped via Toll or local freight (Naracoorte Freight Centre can only be shipped to physical street addresses.

Priority Dispatch: Express orders are given priority over standard orders and will be packed and shipped first.

Availability: Pick-up is available from our Retail Store at:

Processing time: Once the order is in stock and ready to collect you will be contacted via email. Please check our business trading hours before coming in.

Requirements: When buying Online and picking-Up Instore you are required to bring in the following:
Your order number
The Credit Card used to make the purchase if paid via Credit Card
Valid photo ID (Government Issued)
You will be required to sign and date your order on collection.

If someone other than yourself is to pick up the order please reply to the order confirmation email to let us know. We are unable to authorize changes over the phone, or without the confirmation email attached.
