The Force 141GL is dedicated Gasless MIG* welder, packing a surprising amount of grunt and some features normally only found on larger machines. Impressive 140 amps output, LCD displays and easy-to-use "synergic" controls... all in very compact 6kg package. Welds up to 4mm steel plate, with very impressive arc control at low amps when welding thinner materials. Suitable for 0.8mm & 0.9mm gasless wire, with a side-loading wire feeder compartment for very easy spool replacement. • As with any machine that has a "direct-connect" MIG torch, the 141GL is NOT recommended for trade / field / site work. For these applications, we recommend models 180MST & above, which have heavier-duty "Euro-connect" torches and wire drive systems.

**This machine has been designed to operate best with 0.8mm gasless wire. While 0.9mm wire can also be used, it should be noted that 0.9mm requires up to 180-200 amps in some applications, which is beyond the capacity of this machine.

This machine is a dedicated gasless FCAW (flux-cored wire) welder. Whilst this unit is not able to be used with gas, the term 'MIG' (metal inert gas) is used here for convenience purposes only, 'MIG' being a term that is commonly and colloquially used to describe any type of MIG or FCAW welding machine, whether used with or without gas.
