Pro-Kit is a proud Australian family business that was establish by Stephen Zaarour in 1984 and as time progressed, so did the company.

Based in Sydney, Steve began as a one man van based operation, supplying suspension, brake & other fast moving popular car parts, as well as fuel, oil and radiator caps to service stations and workshops throughout Sydney.

After establishing himself in the industry, Steve saw a gap in the marketplace where automotive caps were poorly presented to retail customer and it was difficult for both sellers & buyers to find the correct cap. He saw opportunity and developed a merchandising programme promoting these ranges in an orderly way that would appeal to his customer base and particularly to Automotive Parts & Accessories retailers as well.

This was an innovation for the time and opened other opportunities to help grow the business & changed his focus from trade based sales towards being a wholesaler to re-sellers.

So, from Steve’s & Pro-Kit’s humble beginnings as a van supplier to the trade, the company has grown into a large warehouse based operation employing over 25 Customer Service, Administration, Marketing, Management & Sales staff, which offers a diverse range of over 3000 line items to the Automotive Industry throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.
